Our Curriculum

Topics Covered

1. Financial Terms

   • Various beginner-friendly finance terms with definitions in order to understand and grasp the concepts taught in the course for future lessons.

   • Activities include our "Financial Terms Game": a match the term to description game that can be found in both the slideshow at the end of the unit and the "Games" tab.

   • The second activity is a printable bingo game which can be found by clicking the "Games" tab (For teacher taught programs or to be played with a parent, not self paced).

2. Money Management/Budgeting

   • First activity can be found on Kahoot with all of the concepts from this unit.

   • Second activity is a "Budgeting Adventure" game where the user has to determine which purchases would be the most financially intelligent to make.

   • Third activity is a "Money Matters" game.

3. Credit, Debit, Loan, Debt

   • There is 1 game we have to date for credit and debit which can be found on the "Games" tab and also on the slideshow for this topic.

4. Investment/Stocks

   • First activity is an investing game, found on Kahoot.

   • Second activity is Investing Jeopardy.

   • Third activity is Stocks Jeopardy.

   • Fourth activity is a "Stock Market Simulation" game which can be found on the "Games" tab and also the slideshow for this topic.

   • Fifth activity is a stock market game where students will form teams and will be given $100,000 to create their own stock portfolios using MarketWatch. More instructions can be found on the slideshow.
